This Elan really does cover both bases; she’s responsive and exciting to sail while having a good sized cockpit and very comfortable interior for entertaining guests and staying on board. Windfall was designed by Rob Humphreys and built by Elan Yachts and has very recently (Feb 2018) undergone a serious maintenance program which includes slipping incorporating wet rub and hull acid wash, anti-foul, Propspeed applied to the 2 blade folding propeller, machine wash and hand polish to topsides, full engine and saildrive service and a full interior and exterior detail. Her accommodation comprises of 2 double cabins. One being in the forepeak and the second on the port side behind the L-shaped galley. She has a generous, fully enclosed head with shower and Jabsco manual flush toilet with holding tank, and the saloon table folds out on both sides to provide a comfortable space for the crew to dine. Windfall is helmed from the tiller which comes with a spinlock extension arm and with the furling headsail, Windfall can be sailed one up. The teak lined cockpit incorporates the main traveller which is great for racing as gives much more control of the fully battened main which is housed in the boom bag with lazy jacks.
