E59 - 𝐎𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟏 𝐨𝐟 𝟐)

This episode we leave Freshwater Bay and sail around Hat Point in a fairly strong current where we see whirlpools going past No Regrets, before stopping at Borda Island where a very friendly crocodile swims out to welcome us. Heading further south we pass around part of the huge pearl farm and make our way to Crystal Beach (or also known as Careen Beach), and take the most difficult climbing route to see the crystals on the beach, before anchoring at South East Rocks. WHO ARE WE? We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change. We are just an ordinary Aussies couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
