Cruising French canals & Rhône river to AVIGNON through the worlds DEEPEST lock after a HAILSTORM

Ep25: The DEEPEST lock in the world when it was built is at Bolléne on the river Rhône. At Viviers it's easy to ground your boat. Avignon is steeped in history and visibility is almost zero in a hailstorm! A lot happened in just four days on our Long Way Down voyage through France from Dunkirk to the Mediterranean Sea. No mishaps, no dramas or real problems for us, but a boating friend had to dive and cut lines free from his propeller!
