After our (lack-of) shake-out cruise, we took a few days to indulge the beauty of Barkley Sound and the town of Bamfield while staying at the stunning Pacific Gateway Wilderness Lodge (Bamfield, BC, Canada). This place is pretty remote and a little bit of a commitment to get to, but this is about as close as you can get to nature in luxurious comfort. We loved this place and can’t wait to go back one day, hopefully with a bigger group since it’s also so perfectly set up for those types of gatherings.
