Unbelievable that it has been so quiet, maybe because of the cold, no ranger wanted to shoot animals, nobody hiking around. You are right; it is not very clever to camp near where the rangers do their job. At least I avoided the angles from where they could unwillingly hit me. The only concern was not to disturb the remaining wildlife. In this little test, the DD Hammock XL goes together with the DD Underquilt, made for a comfort zone of - 5 Celsius. The night was a little fresh, of course not the fault of the underquilt, and with additional layers around hips and legs, it was warm enough to get a good rest. For a cold night in a hammock, I recommend a) a thicker underquilt and b) 3 or 4 nice little layers of a Fleece pull, a Fleece cardigan, or alike around the places where you feel a thermal loss. You will get a fantastic rest! This small project's beauty has been that I could find interesting stuff in the chosen microcosmos - minimal action on the outside, intense insights that are difficult to present. Aussprechen verkleinert das Ausgesprochene. Nur was uns zur zweiten Natur geworden ist, lässt sich anderen mitteilen. Malidoma Patrice Some
