A Different Kind of Boating...The Caribbean Poker Run
Follow along this weekend as we go on a Caribbean Poker Dinghy run! This charity event raised funds for Petite Calivigny Yacht Club's youth sailing program. There were about 80 poker players and we managed to raise $2000. The funds allow more than 20 Grenadian girls and boys to learn how to sail every Saturday. So cute. We call our little boat "Baby Bongo" and it's a different kind of boating...it does a pretty great job of zooming us around on the water. Having a dinghy is actually a really cool thing- it gets us to ?places we couldn't get to otherwise. Lauren found her epic watermelon sun hat at a random shop in Carriacou and the knockoff Ray-Ban sunglasses were picked up in Saint George's for a steal at $5ec, lol. Ryan's pirate hat...well he got that in Israel during Purim way back before Covid times. Thanks guys so much for following along!
