#57 - NORMAL FAMILY restore a RUSTY OLD SAILBOAT

We're just a normal family working together to restore this rusty old sailing boat so we can fulfil our dream of moving aboard and sailing around the world. In this week's episode we get Jack as involved as we can building some temporary steps down to what will be his aft cabin. Making a mock up is all part of establishing a good proof of concept. We've found before that mocking up ideas in scrap and living with them for a while is good practise, if you have the scrap materials to hand and have time to play around with ideas of course. We also get an amazing gift from across the pond and do some more welding to the transom AND cut a nice new top for the bathing platform Remember we're doing all of this so we can go full time cruising as a sailing family in a few years time.
