Stuck in the back of the low, the crew had to dig deep through conditions that looked nothing like the forecast. After a night sent at warp speed, the IMOCA MSIG Europe turned into a proper washing machine, stuck doing 7 knots in an absolute minefield of a sea state, taking a relentless beating. Tonight, Neptune and Aiolos have finally chilled out, delivering a better wind angle, a flatter sea, and the boat back up on the foils. Positionné à l’arrière de la dépression, l’équipage a dû faire face à des conditions bien éloignées des prédictions météorologiques. Après une nuit propulsée « à la vitesse de la lumière », l’IMOCA MSIG Europe s’est transformé en une véritable machine à laver, piégé à 7 nœuds dans une mer démontée sous des chocs incessants. Ce soir, Neptune et Éole sont devenus enfin plus cléments, offrant un meilleur angle de vent, une mer plus calme et une glisse à nouveau possible.
