The Ocean Lab presents "Gray Whales in the San Ignacio Lagoon," an educational livestream broadcast featuring marine mammal expert Dr. Steven Swartz presenting on all things Gray Whales. Join Dr. Swartz in the lab at the Laguna San Ignacio Ecosystem Science Program, located in the historically and ecologically significant San Ignacio lagoon in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Dr. Swartz will discuss what the latest research is teaching us about gray whales and their changing environment. Participants will be able to ask questions and Dr. Swartz will also give us insights into what being a marine research scientist is really like. While the program will be broadcast in English, Zoom offers multiple language interpretation options.
