After months of island-hopping across the Mediterranean, our Lagoon 440 Kaia has finally brought us to Sardinia тАУ and the pace of life here instantly feels different. WeтАЩve sailed close to 1,000 nautical miles this season, from SpainтАЩs mainland to the Balearics, and our recent crossing to Sardinia was our longest and most magical passage yet. This week, we drop the sails and take time to soak in SardiniaтАЩs wilder side. Under a gentle breeze, we make a short sail down the coast to the peaceful anchorage of Punta de SтАЩAchivoni, where we celebrate VikaтАЩs birthday surrounded by calm seas, turquoise water, and our three salty dogs. From there, we follow the eastern coastline past deserted beaches and rugged mountain backdrops, before stepping ashore in the quaint town of Portoscuso тАУ our final stop together before Vika heads off to Ibiza.
