► The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is undoubtedly the most glamorous, immersive, and unmissable boating event in the southern hemisphere. Held from May 22 to 25, the show brought together more than 330 exhibitors, nearly 760 boats, and over 2,500 marine products and types of equipment. This little guy was bobbing around our boat this morning for at least an hour - FAST ASLEEP!! I touched him a couple of times as he came right up against the sugar scoop and was amazed at just how hot his little flipper "solar panel" was! Seals float around like this with their flippers out of the water in the sunshine, as a way of warming up, so I thought that his flipper would obviously be warmer than our 13 degreeC water but was really surprised by just how hot it was. He was totally oblivious to my touching him over and over - super relaxed and fast asleep.
