Hurricane Ian left a path of destruction across Cuba, Florida, and the Carolinas on October of 2022. When it swept through Daytona, it was a tropical storm for a while before again becoming a hurricane. After 6 weeks in the US we're back in Trinidad! The travel was great but it's good to be home, with an excited welcome from our dog Rose! There's lots to unpack, boat work to start and all before I fly out again to visit Australia for the first time since I moved aboard, 4 years ago.
