Raymarine has some interesting news for this year, as boats.com senior editor Lenny Rudow discovered at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, when the LightHouse software update was announced along with the CP100. The LightHouse update includes a lot of advancements, including new color palettes, menus, and pinch-to-zoom functionality. Meanwhile, the CP100 takes the same CHIRP-ish technology use in the Raymarine Dragonfly, and combines it with a black-box sounder. The local fishermen ran out of fuel and couldn’t get back to shore. It by rowing. After a long night of fishing, they were tired. We gave them fuel and they gifted us fish! They were so kind and very grateful. We love these kinds of interactions with the locals!
