For Toni and I, nothing beats a floating dock and we think most catamaran sailors would agree. Fixed docks required line adjustments, fender movements, and simply getting on and off the boat safely depends on the tides. However, a floating docks are a set it, and forget it. The first week of the season ending Frosties Regatta at Strangford Lough Yacht Club were sailed in perfect conditions. With a steady 10 to 15 knots which built steadily during the afternoon before topping out at 15 to 20 knots for race 2. The team on GTR pulled of a near perfect gybe coming down the last run to consolidate the their leading while flying into the bottom mark at of 8 knots of boats speed. After a shacking start to the season in big breezes it is great to see the crew working like clock work as the seasons on Going to Red races towards it's close.
