We were only at George Town a few days last year. This year, we're got some more time to explore all that George Town Exumas has to offer. Today, we went out to hike to the top of Monument Peak and it ultimately took us over to the back side of Stocking Island, facing Exumas Sound. Ragazzi, non c'è verso! Per quanto si cerchi di programmare i lavori di cantiere alla perfezione, la vita sul mare è incerta per definizione e i ritardi si accumulano come le cambiali! Io ho finito i lavori sulla Maruzza, la mia barca a vela che mi porterà in Africa. Adesso è perfetta e pronta ad andare ovunque. Ma la Pasqua ortodossa ha colpito e il cantiere, come tutto il resto, ha chiuso i battenti per una settimana... Quindi c'è poco da fare, se non festeggiare con gli amici, sperando che la prossima settimana porti una bella gru che possa mettere in mare la Maruzza.
