If you guys know one thing about Riles and I, it’s that we never back away from some friendly competition ;) We recently hit the water for a race with @strickandfran . They decided upon a traditional style powerboat, fully confident she could take on our sailboat… and it was full throttle, full laughs all the way to the end! We’re still debating who won… let us know what you think in the comments ahaha!

Living on a sailboat, we come across the authorities far more often than you might expect! In the Mediterranean we experienced the Algerian and Croatian navy (Algerian was super stressful!!), and the Italian financial police, but Trinidad is the first time we've been stopped by the coast guard. It was late at night, around midnight, when we saw their blue flashing lights come at us as we motored through the First Bocas, returning to Trinidad after months sailing up and down the Caribbean island chain.
