We caught up with some of the 29er sailors at the Irish Sailing Investwise Youth National Championships in Howth Yacht club today (April 15th 2023) to find out what they love about sailing. The 29ers are one of the fastest growing classes and have a great mix of boys and girls competing together and against each other. Toni and I boarded Moments in Time with Captain Mike for our first shakedown sail. It was a morning of flooding rains and stiff breezes. We found this and that issues which we were able to resolve but as the breezes reached 30+ knot winds and the waves turned the minutes to hours, we headed back to Liberty Marine satisfied with the day’s progress.
