Siempre tenemos un respeto especial a la maniobra de atraque de nuestros barcos. En mis clases te enseño desde el principio cómo se hace. En este caso, hemos utilizado el Luna de Nergha, una Fairline Phamtom 42 con dos motores Volvo Penta de 400HP cada uno. La mayor ventaja que tiene una embarcación con dos motores, es que la maniobra es perfecta. Eso sí, las palas superiores de las hélices deben girar hacia fuera. Todos los vectores de fuerza generados por el movimiento de la misma se unen para apoyar a la maniobra que estemos realizando en el momento dado. Sea ir avante, atrás, caer a babor o caer a estribor. A strong start today for the 49er teams at the Olympic qualifier in Lanzarote. Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove Team Dickson Waddilove 49er Ireland topped the Day 1 leader-board with Ryan Seaton and Séafra Guilfoyle Out2Win Ryan & Séafra placing an 11-8-8 for the day. Conditions off Playa Blanca in the straits between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura were very unpredictable in the fresh trade-wind conditions with added ocean swell. “It was very tricky with the wind coming off the mountains so a ‘head out of the boat’ day but all-in-all, a great start to the regatta,” commented James O’Callaghan, Irish Sailing’s Performance Director. “There’s a long way to go in this regatta but we couldn’t have asked for a better start.” We'll be posting updates here daily.
