Hauling out our Lagoon 42 catamaran is a regular maintenance task that happens every 18 months or so. Typically our sailing catamaran is lifted out of the water by a travel lift in carefully placed slings, which gave us great confidence. Not this year, watch just what happens when we head to Cura├зao for a lift from a tractor.... Would you like to experience the sailing life aboard our Lagoon 42? While several of The Famous Project crew already have circumnavigations to their names, some many times, taking a 32m Ultim tri through the deep south from the Cape of Good Hope to the notorious Cape Horn took the entire crew into new territory. Little surprise then that turning the corner at the bottom of the world is such a big deal.
