Our friend Len turned Manava into a lumber delivery vessel. Simon teaches our Sailing Lifestyle Experiences on this boat. Currently, it’s being used to carry wood designated to rebuild the kitchen at the Paradise Beach Club, Carriacou. Once this kitchen is up and running, it will feed countless locals and volunteers helping to rebuild the fantastic island of Carriacou. Finally! A little weekend getaway… ✨ Or well, more like a full-on work weekend on Vela. We packed our biggest IKEA bag and moved aboard for a few days to get as much done as possible. The to-do list is still long, but waking up on the boat again makes all the hard work worth it! We tackled cleaning, polishing, anti fouling, engine maintenance, and a bunch of small fixes. And of course, Anker made sure to keep morale high with his morning yoga. Not exactly a relaxing getaway, but definitely our kind of weekend! ⛵
