After an ice storm and a late-night show, we return to our sailboat to see what winter left behind. Frozen lines, rigging checks, and a full winter boat inspection to make sure everything survived. After the storm, we bring in provisions for the weekend, wake up to quiet marina mornings, make coffee and a warm omelet bowl with music playing in the background, and take care of a failing electrical outlet onboard. We've been having the bathroom in our condo redone, and what we expected would be two nights aboard Intention has turned into almost two weeks. WE ARE THRILLED!! We are learning what it's like to ACTUALLY live aboard our amazing boat, and do that we are really impressed! We were getting low on diesel and our holding tank was probably about two-thirds full, so we motored over to Van Isle Marina to fuel up and pump out. As we were leaving Tsehum Harbour, the Sun was shining and there was around 10 knots of wind. OF COURSE we went sailing!!

The new Yamaha F115 outboard will be lighter and more powerful than the motor it replaces, according to Yamaha, which released specs in January and debuted the four-cylinder four-stroke at the Miami International Boat Show. The new F115 will reach dealers sometime in the second quarter of 2014, with an MSRP of $11,445 for the 20-inch remote control version.
