We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Siempre que nos aproximamos a un cabo o estrecho el viento va a arreciar y modificar su dirección. La navegación a vela en estas zonas siempre es un reto para el navegante. En esta ocasión nos ha tocado hacerlo con el viento en la nariz, on the nose, como dicen nuestros compañeros anglosajones. No queda nada más que tomar la estrategia acertada para poder pasar con los mínimos bordos posibles. Eso sí, te va a tocar virar.
