We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). La conferenza di presentazione della stagione sportiva 2015 dello Yacht Club Costa Smeralda ha rappresentato l'occasione per fare una chiacchierata con il commodoro YCCS Riccardo Bonadeo, l'uomo che nel 1983 fu a capo del consorzio di aziende che sostennero la campagna di America's Cup di Azzurra, che rese popolare la vela in Italia. Sappiamo della vecchia passione di Bonadeo per il giro del mondo, così gli abbiamo chiesto della possibilità, per un team italiano, di prendere parte alla prossima edizione della Volvo Ocean Race.
