Boats.com Senior Editor Lenny Rudow checked in at the Simrad booth at the Annapolis Sailboat Show and discovered a new way to look at your chartplotter, radar, fishfinder, and more: on an iPad. Simrad's GoFree Viewer and Control app allows the user to sync a boat's radar with an iPad for control from anywhere. http://blog.boats.com/2012/10/video-short-simrad-nso-multifunction-display-can-be-ipad-controlled/ For more short takes, visit www.boats.com

The way that I'm going to show you today is a safe way to do it; it will hold. First, take a full wrap around the cleat. Then criss cross it twice. Finally, turn the line in your hand so it wraps over top of itself, and pull it tight, once on either side. There you go! That will not come loose.
