Watch the full episode here: https://youtu.be/Wm5jVxP5uiU We're diving into a BRAIN BENDER of a project in this week's episode. The helm station is about to come alive, and it's turning out to be quite the game of Tetris to try and fit all the gadgets and screens that we will use to sail around in the world into a rather compact space. But with Kazza's knack for organizing, Dan's mastery with the welder, and my nerd-mode fully activated, we manage to come up with something super functional that looks pretty dang sexy! The helm station is one of those spots on the boat that can really make or break how fun, comfortable, and practical a boat is to sail, so it's something that we've put soooo much thought into. We really take you through what the design process really looks like in this one, so we hope you enjoy this glimpse into how we we're able to go from some blank stares and head scratches to something sooooo freaking cool! It brings us great pleasure knowing 1000 kg of plastic waste has been removed from the Adriatic because of our incredible community of change-makers & ocean-enthusiasts. At The Yacht Week, it is very important that we are able to make a difference, even if it is a small one, by sparking positive change no matter where the wind and the waves take us. We sail to some of the world’s most beautiful locations and we aim to keep them that way. Thank you again to Sea Going Green and the other wonderful people that made this event happen, and to Sam McAllister for capturing it all. We can’t wait to do the same next year! www.theyachtweek.com
