Lyman-Morse built, delivered, and installed a canopy for the Kendall Square MBTA stop in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The 160’ x 32’ canopy structure is made of fiberglass with carbon-fiber bulkheads. Here is a great video done by NADAAA, a Boston based architecture and urban design firm, which acted as the Design Architect for this project.
One of our friends in Monterey let us take his Boston Whaler out for a spin, and Ira discovered... again... that she likes to go fast! She asked me to sit in the front so I could feel what it was like to try to take photographs from the front of the boat, and boy was it bumpy! She offered to speed up to try to skip across the wave tops a bit more, but I felt like it was plenty fast. Just like on a bumpy road, sometimes the best way to smooth out the ride is to go 100MPH...?
