Un programma formativo basato sulla didattica inglese della RYA, adatto a chi è in cerca di una crescita professionale ma anche a chiunque voglia approfondire le proprie competenze. Si affrontano tutte le tematiche legate alla vita di bordo: - il coordinamento e la gestione dell’equipaggio - la pianificazione di una rotta in base alle previsioni meteo e alle aree di navigazione - la conduzione dell’imbarcazione - la risoluzione delle diverse avarie agli impianti di bordo. It felt that our sailing season was cut short. We just took delivery of “Moments in Time” back in April and now she is already laid up for the winter. A colder than normal November and December forced us to put our Seawind 1260 into hibernation. I hope next year we will wise up and simply sail south when the November winds come a calling. Steve began the journey as an amateur wooden boat builder crafting a 38' wooden sailboat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and now sailing the boat—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that traditional wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project continues beyond the boat shop, as Steve and crew travel and learn to cruise aboard the handmade wooden boat that they've built.
