There were plenty of boats on the star line for the SLYC Two day event, Dark and Scary got slightly to windward of GTR shortly after the start but was slowly burnt off by the superior hight of the J109 GTR. A lovely example is in this video of a Merry Fisher inboard weekend cruiser. She is shaft driven tunning a single three-blade propellor. The inboard diesel boats were phased out replaced by outboard motor versions. Although the outboard version was a totally different hull shape, faster and quieter the inboard boat still has a great following on the used boat market.
