Originally from Sturgeon Bay, you can now find Utopia in Manitowoc, Wisconsin! Dockside visitors can explore this beautifully crafted vessel, which was designed by Fred J. Peterson of Peterson Builders, Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and built in 1946. Utopia’s unique features include a steel double bottom for strength, wooden hull sides for warmth, and twin Detroit diesel engines. Visitors can marvel at her elegant lines, learn about her global circumnavigation, and appreciate the craftsmanship that has kept her sailing for decades. Utopia currently resides under the stewardship of the her new owners based in Manitowoc Wisconsin, where it continues to inspire curiosity and passion for the Great Lakes among learners of all ages.

Discover exceptional sailing with Sun Odyssey DS 43, 2000. This 13.21-meter yacht, boasting a 4.19-meter beam and a 1.9-meter draft, combines luxury and performance, having recently sailed 2000NM in the Mediterranean. The boat features a new furling mainsail, a 70m anchor chain, and a well-maintained Genoa with a spare. The original Yanmar engine, with 3000 hours left before needing detailing, operates with a direct drive and an Autostream feathering propeller. It has a water capacity of 670 liters and a fuel capacity of 200 liters, along with davits for a dinghy. Advanced RAYMARINE electronics from 2018 include Radar QUANTUM, dual Axiom plotters, and wind and depth instruments. Additional amenities include a Diesel genset Dynamica 3.5kW, Raymarine autopilot, and an Aquabase water maker. Inside, the boat features two bathrooms with showers, a marine air conditioner, and a flexible cabin layout currently set as a 2-cabin configuration with new white upholstery.
