J109 Going to Red was in the presence of sailing royalty during the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. After rounding the harbour mark off the main city Going to red cross, the two time winner of the famous Fastnet race on a two sail reach across the harbour front. We are engaged by the buyer to inspect the boat before taking it over. That was our first meeting with Saxdor. I have to admit that I came with certain prejudices because we inspected boats of a similar type and could not find any justification for the prices that reached up to million of Euros. Saxdor is advertised as the fastest growing European brand, and according to what we have seen, we are not surprised.
