This is Wanagi She comes from the Standing Rock Soiux Nation. Cannon Ball North Dakota, She was born January 2017 and was found in a dumpster. I was at Standing Rock working as media for the Water Protectors at Standing Rock Fighting the NODAPL Endbridge Pipeline and Man Camps. I was sitting around the sacred fire offering tobacco and prayers a woman walked from out of the snow storm reached in herr jacket and handed me a 5 week old Mange covered pup she had just found in one of the camps dumpsters. Well I took one look into those eyes grabbed the pup and put her inside my coat where it was warm and dry. She lived next to my heart for the first month of her life. She has saved my life many times since and is now a Registrered Service Dog and helps me with instability and balance issues from my spinal injuries.

The original 1998 chainplates have been ground out of the fiberglass on my Island Packet 320. During our Greenland sailing adventure, we sailed along the Ikateq Channel to the end of the Sermiligaaq Fjord, reaching the stunning Karale and Knud Rasmussen glaciers. We navigated along the edge of the glacier to get a closer look at this breathtaking natural wonder, discovering towering mountains and crystal-clear icebergs in perfect harmony with the serenity of nature.
