Toni and I boarded Moments in Time with Captain Mike for our first shakedown sail. It was a morning of flooding rains and stiff breezes. We found this and that issues which we were able to resolve but as the breezes reached 30+ knot winds and the waves turned the minutes to hours, we headed back to Liberty Marine satisfied with the day’s progress. Our last two weeks in The Bahamas 🙁. Today, we sail from Spanish Wells to The Berry Islands where we plan to spend the next week or so before making our way to Andros and Morgans Bluff. It was an awesome day of sailing. We got pinched off in the morning and needed to motor sail but then the winds strengthened and shifted more north. What a great day.

Inne i accelerationszonen med 11-12m/s och rätt stökig sjö. Det blev inte många timmars sömn inatt, det rullade och knarrade mest så hade svårt stt slappna av och sova. Men det är väl en omställning till detta nya väder nu som vi nog får ha i några dygn. Utanför Colombias kust, där vi befinner oss nu, är det allmänt känt att det ofta blåser mycket och med stökig sjö. Men det går iallafall fort, nu har vi 450 sjömil kvar och i denna fart räknar vi med att avverka 150sjömil per dygn så runt 4 dygn kvar nu.
