► Our Australian correspondent Kevin Green got the opportunity for a test sail aboard the XF75, a luxurious powercat that is as high-performance as it is exclusive, with a superstructure that doubles as a helipad. This powercat, offered by New Zealand manufacturer Voodoo Yachts and unveiled at the recent Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, features a carefully optimized hull and foils that allow it to reach speeds of up to 50 knots. In addition to this impressive speed for a 75-foot vessel, the Voodoo boasts fuel consumption well below that of an 85- to 90-foot monohull superyacht offering the same features: the usable area measures some 3,000 square feet (279 m²)... By limiting its speed to 8 knots, the XF75 is capable of ocean passage-making. We sail from Kekova to Kas in Turkey this morning, we leave early to catch some favourable wind and are treated to a beautiful sunrise 😍 and we finally have a sunny day! Unfortunately no wind in the end though so we end up motoring the whole way, plus our autopilot is currently broken so we hand steered today, but none the less we’ve had a beautiful day around Kas
