We know that learning to sail can be overwhelming and there is a lot to take in. In an effort to help, we’ve created a series of “Bite Sized Lessons” taken straight out of our textbooks – Sailing Made Easy and Coastal Cruising Made Easy. (asa.com/textbooks) In this lesson we take a look at who has the right of way as two sailboats approach each other; one on starboard tack, the other on port tack.

This video shows how the Yanmar engine options looks in the engine bay. We are going with the 37 HP Nanni engine in Mira. We are doing this because it is about 100 lbs lighter, much simpler and, as per James, outperforms the Yanmar option. More to come on the Nanni option.
