Watch the full episode here: https://youtu.be/co6frvSiYSM We're back at it in the workshop, and in today's episode we do a deep dive into a topic that we've gotten sooo many questions about: What kind of finish will we choose for the hull? There's a lot to take into consideration like corrosion prevention, cost, ease of maintenance, and of course how sexy will it look 🔥 And I think we've managed to strike a good balance with our final choice! So the team gets to work on this MASSIVE undertaking, and the results are SCHMICK! And in true realistic fashion to what life is really like at the build, we mix in a few other fun side quests just keep everyone on their toes 🤣 Watch the full episode here: https://youtu.be/co6frvSiYSM

David Payne of the Australian National Maritime Museum gives us a little inspiration for the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame with a look at Barrenjoey, the 5.5M yacht which was sailed to Olympic glory in 1964. Grandfather Bill Northam and crew Peter “Pod” O’Donnell and James Sergeant, won Australia’s first Olympic sailing Gold medal in Tokyo in this beautiful boat which was designed in the US but built in Australia. Nominations for the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame close on June 16, so get your nominations in 👉🏻http://www.sailing.org.au/australian-sailing-hall-fame/
