It has been a very long time since my brothers and I all went sailing. This was the perfect day with gusty winds that forced us to put two reefs in. We sailed the Hooper Island Lighthouse run and made it back no worse for the wear. And none of us got in trouble . . . , at least not that we know of. Subscribe and share the adventure! Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We sustained some damage from both Hurricane Helene and Milton and today is the day (Dec 2024) that Frankenstein is removed from the boat and the new engine will go in... but when???
