🇳🇿 There are some benefits to a long solo delivery. Look out the window 👀, sleep for a long as you want 🛌 , and dance like nobody’s watching!🕺 🇫🇷 Il y a certains avantages à un long voyage en solitaire. Regardez par la fenêtre 👀, dormez aussi longtemps que vous le souhaitez 🛌 , et dansez comme si personne ne regardait ! 🕺

The Double Sheet Bend is one of if not the best way to join to ropes of different diameter. You can learn how to tie a double sheet bend in less than two minutes. Here at Bottom Up Boat we prefer the Double Sheet Bend over the Single Sheet bend, the two loops around the bight give it key advantages over the single sheet bend. The two loops make the knot more secure before the knot has been put under load and easier to untie as the double loops cause the knot to tighten on the bight rather than the loop wedging itself at the top of the bend. The Bottom up Boats team recommend that you learn the single sheet bend, https://youtu.be/vKvJ3aKu43A , but always use the Double Sheet Bend as it is far superior. If the shorts version was to quick for you and you want a more detailed demo of how to tie the double sheet bend you can watch the full form version on the bottom up boats main channel. https://youtu.be/mQU20P-Idns If you like the Double Sheet Bend video you should click on the link below to watch out Know Knots playlist which has variety of knots that every sailor should know. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMoCfFBA9IMUcOoZy5QT-o66DM8uHukkH Thanks for watching our YouTube Shorts video where we teach you how to tie the double sheet bend video and for reading on to learn more, if you learnt something along the way don't forget to subscribe getting the Bell on to ensure you are notified as soon we release our new content.

We had so much fun in 2022, we''re doing it again 13-20 May 2023 14-21 October 2023 Why join us? One of the main benefits of any flotilla is the lead skipper and on your 'Sharpen Up' Flotilla, Nick Hathaway is it. Having learned to sail in the famously blustery waters of Wellington, New Zealand, Nick understands the value of forward planning, monitoring situations and being able to make strong, confident decisions. Be assured that Nick, as lead skipper, has the experience to make tough decisions about the weather, about what ports your itinerary will take you to, as well as being a professional in-person point-of-reference if anything unexpected pops up for you during the week. With Nick leading the flotilla, and this year with Mahina joining the lead team, you will get to benefit from their both of their years together chartering and sailing in Croatia. They also know the best Konoba for amazing traditional Croatia cuisine, wines and other local delicacies. Add to this of course, over 15 years experience instructing and training both skippers and crew. And you have an amazing package! LEARN MORE - https://go.45degreessailing.com/sharpen-up-flotilla REGISTER YOUR INTEREST NOW - Only two charter spots left in May. 13-20 May 2023 14-21 October 2023 #flotilla #sharpenup #sailing #croatia #charteryacht #sailingadventures
