We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Some days are loud… but this one wasn’t. This one was perfect. A slow start on the boat, followed by joining the Buren Bay community to clean the beach, a healthy lunch at Yadon Care at the tip of Uken Inlet, and a gentle sunset that seemed to say, “Well done today.” It reminds me that the smallest moments, solo silence, shared work, healthy food, quiet sunset, end up feeling like the big ones.
