The Quarter Toner “Purple Haze” was the best overall boat of the 2026 Bangor Town Regatta. The team at the Royal Ulster Yacht Club did a great job putting on 10 races over a 4 day weekend.

Korfu – Zakynthos – Peloponnes – Santorin – Rhodos in 5 Tagen 3 Stunden und 52 Minuten und ohne Landberührung… Das ist ein Segeltörn durch Griechenland der ungewöhnlichen Art! 551,7 Seemeilen ganz ohne Sirtaki, Tsatsiki und Souvlaki. Bei der Überführung der Segelyacht “Makani”, einer Sigma 38 von Korfu nach Rhodos vom 8. bis 13. April und am 16. April nach Marmaris ist alles anders, was man sonst vom Segeln in Griechenland kennt. When we left the harbour of Cherbourg, early before sunrise, after 5 minute we saw a group of dolphins in front of our boat. At least 15 animals, swimming and jumping in front of the catamaran!
