This is something new that doesn’t look or feel as anything new, but as a Hallberg-Rassy has always looked like. Hallberg-Rassy now offer EcoDeck, which is a strong, flexible, solvent free, UV-proof polyurethane resin based decking and caprail system. This viscous-elastic composite material has a stylish and warm effect with a seamless and durable finish. PU teak is made of polyurethane, which is more durable and non-skid than a PVC deck. PU teak has been used for years on superyachts. 9.8 knots yesterday afternoon while out sailing on this vintage sailboat! I know many of you have been much faster on a sailboat, but this was my fastest ever. The beautiful, long lines on this 43 foot 1963 Sparkman and Stephens helped get us up to speed. We were blowing past other boats! 😄 If two sailboats are going in the same direction, it's a race!
