La bande annonce du projet Sailing Alama. Le Projet SAILING ALAMA, c'est l'achat d'un premier voilier, un Bénéteau First 30 de 1979, un vieux baroudeur qui a déjà parcourue l'océan atlantique avec son ancien propriétaire Grégoire "ASTAP sur l'Atlantique". Le but, est de redonner un coup de jeune à ce voilier, nouvel aménagement, nouvelle couleur et ensuite de prendre le large, continuer la formation déjà commencé par des stages de voile, de partir en navigation seul, en famille et entre amis. The SAILING ALAMA Project is the purchase of a first sailboat, a Bénéteau First 30 from 1979, an old adventurer who has already crossed the Atlantic Ocean with its former owner Grégoire "ASTAP sur l'Atlantique". The goal is to give this sailboat a facelift, new layout, new color and then to set sail, continue the training already started with sailing courses, to go sailing alone, with family and friends. As the wind and waves increased it is a wet ride for the jib trimmer down to leeward on our Mumm 36 racing yacht. As the spray pounds into his face it is all eyes on the leach of the sail, making minor lots of adjustments to allow the skipper to carve through the waves while keeping the speed on. The Mumm 36 loved the breeze and when she was setup correctly with lots of mast bend in the breeze she could power through most conditions without having to put a reef in the main. Continual minor trim adjustments where needed to keep the boat in the groove and make life easy for the skipper need to be in in tune with the changes to sail the boat fast. The team at bottom up boats loved the Mumm and the fun we had while racing her as hard as we could on strangford lough and beyond.

The Solaris 64 RS (2020, 2.90m keel) exhibits robust sailing characteristics, driven by a stiff hull and twin rudders for stable performance and light helm response. Sail handling is optimized for ease with a self-tacking jib, electric winches, and an optional in-boom furling mainsail, contributing to its 239 m² reference sail area. Propulsion is provided by a VOLVO PENTA D4-180 engine. The interior features a comfortable, open-plan saloon and galley, illuminated by ample natural light, finished in old oak. The well-equipped galley includes substantial refrigeration and specific appliances.
