We have marked the 40th anniversary of our iconic Hythe Marina Village with a weekend of celebrations, bringing together berth holders, residents and visitors to honour four decades of boating and waterfront living. The festivities began on Saturday 20 September with a community hog roast, hosted by Hythe Marina Association. The ticketed event provided an opportunity for residents and friends of the marina to gather and celebrate this important milestone together.

Safety is key when climbing the mast onboard Linnea! And this is our version 2.0 🤯 Always use two lines in case one will fail! At the beginning we used two running halyards, which meant that the one on deck was controlling two lines at the same time, tightening one and then the other and so on. It worked, but it was a very time consuming solution and it wasn’t very safe either! Doing this instead, the one on deck only have one line to control. The prusik knot is controlled by the person in the mast, who simply just moves it along the static halyard (the one attached to the foot of the mast) while going both up and down. Simple as that! This Sea Ray 320 has had approximately $50k spent on it in 2019, including two brand new Bravo III outdrives. It also has rare moorage available in West Van, which potential buyers can ask about. Sea Ray has a reputation for setting the standard for express cruisers, and this boat is no exception, with a premium blend of style, comfort, and performance. The dedication to quality is evident in every aspect of the boat, from the sporty burlwood dash to the near-flawless dark gelcoat and premium hardware. The interior of the 320 is just as impressive, with plush, brightly lit, and open spaces. The high gloss cherry paneling and mirrored accents create a decor that is rich in luxury and sophistication. The salon settee can convert to a double berth, while the forward berth is a queen island, and the mid-cabin berth is convertible. Privacy curtains separate these areas from the main cabin. There are also many new features, including a Fusion stereo and four new 1350 AGM maintenance-free batteries. The boat comes with a new Ray Axiom GPS with a doppler radar system, and the heat exchangers, alternators, and water pumps were all recently replaced. The hull was stripped and given a new antifoul in 2020, and there is a new ACR spotlight. The boat also includes an ESPAR Marine Diesel Heater Kit, and the canvas was replaced approximately four years ago. This turnkey package is ready to go and is probably the most up to date 320 on the market today. Additionally, all four risers were recently replaced with MerCruiser OEM parts, and spring maintenance was completed, including replacement of all zincs, an oil change, and new spark plugs for the Kohler generator.
