Ever wonder how some sails just seem to fly? The secret of 3Di sails lies in their advanced aero-optimization. Traditional sails struggle with drag, but #North3Di takes a revolutionary approach. North Sails utilizes cutting-edge computer modeling alongside custom 3D molds. This allows for the creation of a sail with a streamlined, 3D shape that minimizes drag and maximizes "drive" - the force propelling your boat forward. The result? Greater efficiency, increased speed across wind conditions, and a whole new level of sailing performance. Learn the reasons behind the speed: https://www.northsails.com/3di Visit North Sails at https://www.northsails.com/pages/sails #northsails #sailmaker #sailing #technology #3Di #North3Di
On Saturday 1st February, Comanche Raider III crew members Ramon Sant Hill, Daniel Bartolo and Mark Muscat joined the Serious Fun crew. Owned by Jan Versteeg and Sally Jackson, this was this boat’s first foray in the Club’s event. Joining there were Kurt Camilleri and Paul Masters who all found this cruise to be an excellent opportunity to get into the RMYC Sailing scene and are looking forward to the next event. Four months ago, we left Maine on our hand built wooden sailboat. Join us in Southwest Florida, as we adventure our way through Cabbage Key and Cayo Costa. We set out on paddleboards to find the elusive "Tunnel of Love," a natural mangrove tunnel that leads into a lagoon on the back side of Cayo Costa. We found it...along with sugar-white sand, a trillion seashells, and the kind of tropical, turquoise water you dream about. View the full episode here - https://youtu.be/BerVXBbMJAs
