WhitsundayEscape.com This group of young French travellers chose to explore the Whitsunday islands by hiring their own boat and skippering it themselves. They got to decide their own itinerary, choosing where they went and how long they stayed. They encountered all kinds of Australian wildlife and marine life, and really enjoyed swimming with turtles, and watching dolphins frolicking around the boat. They loved every minute of their sailing holiday with Whitsunday Escape and highly recommended it to other young international travellers.
"J'y crois pas. Après tout ce travail, c'est ça qui me rend encore plus triste. C'est pas que moi, c'est toute mon équipe, ma famille, tout le monde qui a travaillé trop dur pour moi. Et c'est pas juste pour tout le monde qui attendait un super Vendée Globe." "I can't believe it. After all this work, that's what makes me the saddest. It's not just about me, it's all my team, my family and all the people who worked very hard for me. It's not fair for everyone who was expecting a great Vendée Globe." "No me lo puedo creer. Después de todo este trabajo, eso es lo que me entristece lo más. No es solo por mi sino por todo mi equipo, mi familia, y todas las personas que trabajaron tanto por mi. No es justo por todo el mundo que esperaba una super Vendée Globe."

Here are ten reasons people choose to cross an ocean under sail, and why this voyage might be the one that stays with you. 1. To trade noise for the sound of wind in the sails. 2. To trade speed for purpose, rediscover the art of slow travel. 3. To find peace in simplicity: shared meals, shifting skies, and endless horizons. 4. To connect deeply with nature and people, far from Wi-Fi and routine. 5. To learn how to sail a tall ship by doing, steering, setting sails, keeping watch. 6. To watch the sun rise and set with nothing but sea around you. 7. To feel small, in the best possible way. 8. To trade notifications for the sound of waves and laughter on deck. 9. Because every voyage helps keep this historic ship - built in 1911 — sailing the world. 10. Because you'll return home with more than stories, you'll return changed. Share it with the one you'd want beside you at sea. @barkeuropa
