A quick trip post storm to Greenport NY from Clinton to Townsend Marina in Aeris my 1971 27ft C&C sailboat. I normally am singlehanded sailing so I can’t get too much audio as I am on the tiller. It was a great sail over and I hit over 9 knots SOG on the way. One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund.
