In the end, the general success of this transatlantic -supervised rally and the ever more pressing demand from owners of catamarans and trimarans led the World Cruising Club to organize a second rally – the ARC + –, then a third – the ARC January. As a result, since the pressure on marinas has subsided, there have been more multihulls every year: there were 33 at the start of the ARC "historic canal" in 2022, 37 last year and 44 this year - we have them found in Saint Lucia in the Rodney Bay marina! ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Multihulls World's YouTube page now - https://www.youtube.com/c/MultihullsWorld ► Log on to our website to discover over 500 multihulls tests! With the rain coming down and the tide racing up the narrows into Strangford lough the racing in race 1 of the annual narrows series was super tight at the top end of the IRC 1 fleet. The J109 Going to Red, stays in the main flow of the tide with a great leebow that allowed them to creep out to leward of both the Mata 1010 Elixir and the Elan 37 ATALANTE. The racing stayed tight across the full 3 days of racing in the annual Narrows series. The team at Bottom up Boats hope you end ejoyed this short clip from a great weekend of racing.
