On August 28, 2019 Swedish 16yo Climate Activist Greta Thunberg arrived in the NY Harbor on board the Malizia II. Sailors NYC's boat Veronica was the leading boat of the flotilla, with all women crew and captained by Capt. Nitzan Levy.

Swedish Minister of Industry and Innovation, Mikael Damberg, talks about Ekkono and Alfa Laval's collaboration during his keynote at Sveriges Innovationsriksdag (SIR18). Transcript (translated from Swedish): "If we're good on enterprises, and good on startups, then we have a cooperative benefit in Sweden, if we can work it out. I actually met some right here earlier today – Alfa Laval and Ekkono. Exciting cooperation, that was basically born at this meeting [last year's SIR, that was mentioned earlier in the speech], and now they already have a business relationship that's starting to bear fruit for both parties.
