Hear from Australian Sailing Squad's Jake Lilley (QLD) about how his ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami (26-31 January 2015) went. The Queenslander was called the rising star of the Finn fleet and put in an exceptional performance in a tough fleet and a range of conditions finishing overall third. At 21-years of age, Lilley was the youngest Finn sailor in Miami and with his coach John Bertrand the current Junior European Champion is making steady progress. Lilley only joined the class in 2013 and is one of its fastest rising stars. Only time will tell whether he can continue this momentum, but there is no doubt that performing well at Rio is his aim. Some dives don’t just show you something new - they change the way you feel. There’s a moment when the ocean quiets your mind, before the action begins. A slow breath. A hint of movement. That subtle shift where everything seems to lean forward, as if the sea is about to reveal something only you can witness. And then it happens - that rush of life, the sudden pulse of energy, the sense that you’re part of something bigger than what you can see. Not overwhelming. Not chaotic. Just alive in a way that brings you right back to the present. These are the dives we remember. The ones that stay with us after we surface. The ones we’re lucky enough to share. This is how diving should feel. Come join us 🥰 Curious? Dive into more details here - https://thejunk.com/ ... and see all our current offers here - https://thejunk.com/offers/
