Let’s dance to warm up 😉 Pierre shows his moves on the banks of the Qu'Appelle River in Saskatchewan. The Qu’Appelle River crisscrosses southern Saskatchewan. It takes it source at the Qu'Appelle Dam on Lake Diefenbaker and flows into the Assiniboine River in Manitoba. It is very curvy. To give you an idea of conversion, 50 km of river was often only the equivalent of 30 km as the crow flies. Although this river is bordered mainly cattle farms, there is a great diversity of wildlife and birds. La rivière Qu’Apelle sillonne le sud de la Saskatchewan. Elle prend sa source au barrage Qu’Appelle du lac Diefenbaker et se jette dans la rivière Assiniboine au Manitoba. Elle est très sinueuse. Pour vous donner une idée de conversion, 50 km de rivière ne représentait souvent que 30 km à vol d’oiseau. Bien que ce cours d’eau soit bordé principalement de champs destinés à l’élevage bovin, il y a une grande diversité d’animaux sauvages et d’oiseaux.
