When Tom Waes was at our shipyard last week he enjoyed having a break from the meetings by taking the Bestevaer 36 out for a little bit. Arrived in Bangkok, checked into a hotel near Khao San Road. Survived around 30min at Khao San - nothing like the charming and colorful night markets at Chiang Mai. Everyone hated it - even the teens! Left the hotel the next day and found a much nicer and more authentic area of Bangkok to stay in and explore.
